Founded in 1927 by Mr. KUDAKA and under the management of Mr. Keiichi OTA since 1985, our practice is now composed of around 20 professionals involved in all aspects of intellectual property.
A highly skilled team
M. OTA, Japanese Patent Attorney, is also known as a lecturer of Japanese IP system at the Center for International Intellectual Property (CEIPI) since 1995 and to the Examiners of the European Patent Office (EPO) since 2001. He works in collaboration with three other attorneys, specializing in the fields of electrical-electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry and biotechnology. They are supported by a team of 15 staff members and assisted by 7 professional translators based in various countries and working in close relationship with the firm.

- Applications for domestic and international patents – in particular in the fields mentioned above − trademarks, utility models and design ;
- Negotiations and counseling regarding intellectual property (IP) ;
- Expert investigations.
Internationally minded : our priority
Since 1985, Mr. Ota, surrounded by staff members fluent in at least two languages, has been dedicated to strengthening the firm's involvement in the international activity. To this day, our firm works in close relations with over 1000 clients, patent and law firms world-wide. Our team also includes three French staffs including a trainee and/or jurist specializing in IP for more direct contacts with our French-speaking clients and partners.
